Our history
The story of Sernain begines in 1992, started by C/E Milton Burbano and a small group of professional engineers.
The formula was simple:
Solid experience in ship repair and a growing fleet of
banana trading Reefers between Ecuador and Europe.
The result quickly led to Sernain becoming the choice for onboard services and emergency repairs in Ecuador, offering full range of services on commercial vessels.
In the early 2000’s Sernain opend up the only fully dedicated marine workshop in Guayaquil, for fabrication, reconditioning and testing.
Today Sernain is a family owned and operated company, which stands for high quality craftmanship and a passion for overcoming any challenge occuring between crane, deck and hull.
